Ferns N Petals Pvt. Ltd. on Sept. 12 hosted the third edition of Wedding Fraternity Meet (WFM). WFM is the world’s first and largest platform uniting a host of veterans, top professionals and suppliers from across segments of the wedding and social events industry to exchange business ideas and opportunities under one roof where stakeholders can share their views and concerns before the entire fraternity.
The event was held at Kundan Farms, Opp Ashok country resort, Kapashera, Delhi and witnessed high profile interactive sessions with Industry veterans like JJ Valaya– Celebrity Fashion Designer; Araik Galstyan– International Floral Designer from Russia; Nitin Arora– Entertainment Expert; Michel Koopman– GM, The Leela and Sumant Jayakrishnan– Set Designer. WFM also felicitated the industry stalwarts- Mr. GS Kalra- Culinary Expert; Mrs. Harkirat Chaudhary- Wedding Planner and Mr. Radhey Shyam- Florist for their incomparable contribution to the Indian wedding industry. The dignitaries highlighted the importance of specialist services when it comes to weddings and other dignified, extravagant events and the importance of proper coordination and collaboration- detailing display of the best work forth.
The brands associated with WFM displayed their creative offerings for the upcoming wedding season. Swarovski crystals added sparkle to the event with a unique crystal mandap- a novel concept to create an exclusive wedding experience. Puneet Gupta Invitations displayed bespoke wedding and personalized wedding invites. The evening witnessed fine gathering of wedding and event planners, designers, artists, decorators, caterers, photographers, floral experts, luxury car-rental services, hoteliers etc from various walks of wedding arena across the nation.
In the gala evening, His Highness Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, 76th Custodian of the House of Mewar unveiled Soulebrations– the first ever coffee table book on wedding designs in India to celebrate 20 glorious years of the brand’s existence and privileged FNP by being a part of this significant event in the history of Ferns N Petals. Addressing the fraternity, His Highness said,“ The Future is now…what you do today will determine your future because now is the only real time to affect any needed transformation”.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vikas Gutgutia, Founder and MD, Ferns N Petals shared his viewpoints to strengthen the industry and make it more organised. The event graced the year 2014 with the centenary celebrations of FNP marked with the launch of the first-of-its-kind coffee table book on wedding designs on this august occasion.
